This isn't strictly H/W-related, but does anyone remember an episode that had House holding a baby and rocking it for a few moments? I think it was in S1 or 2. It just stuck out to me as one of the few moments House is actually gentle with someone, and I'd like to see it again.

I'm looking for a fic I read a few months ago.

House left on a trip and left Wilson in care of Steve. Wilson got overly attached to the little critter, and he bought him a paly-mate/other rat. I remember that the two rats were talking in one scene of the fic, Wilson being called Pudge or something by them.

Protective House Fic

I am looking for any fics where House is protective of Wilson, where he treats Wilson really nicely or is just careful with him. Possessive and jealous fics are good too. I kinda like House to be dominant, like "let me take care of you, you are so precious, you need to be taken care of". I don't care for really seriously BDSM fics, like where Wilson has to crawl, or anything like that. I don't mind toys or other kinks, though. Sex doesn't necessarily have to be involved though.

I hope you can help me because I have had a really awful week and protective!House is my favorite.
