Musicians, writers, singers...

This is a pretty unusual request, I think... But I was just struck with the idea and I think it would be really cool.


I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in collaborating with me on a fan-made H/W fanmix. And by that I mean, WE make the music. Any amount of people can contribute to the songs, and any amount of songs can be on the album...
I use GarageBand on my Mac laptop and I have a very nice new microphone I bought to record podfics and singing on. I can write lyrics and sing, but I have basically no experience with actual instruments. (I played the flute when I was 11... Yeah.)

So... Does anyone else have GarageBand who can play the guitar? Or ANY instrument? Or even just make music electronically. (Because I certainly can't!)
And even if you can just sing or write lyrics, like me, we could just make it a cappella. I just think it would be an awesome project.

I was thinking it would be cool to work on this during the summer, uploading GarageBand files and letting each other add to them to form the songs.

If anyone's even remotely interested, let me know. And ask questions, of course, because I'm a rambling mess and I'm sure I left out a ton of things. :D

EDIT: Oh, and I hope this sort of thing is allowed here... I couldn't think of where else it would be more appropriate. If it's not, feel free to delete. =)
