1. Are there any stories out there that detail Wilson and House slowly falling in love with each other? (As in, it starts out as purely friendship and slowly develops into love?)

2. Are there any stories that have a particular incident that make either House or Wilson realize how much they love the other, but it hits them like a ton of bricks, and they are terrified about the other finding out but they eventually end up together?

I'm looking for a bit of a longer fic, and preferably one that focuses more on a fear of destroying the friendship rather than a focus on UST.

I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for since I haven't read it in a long, long while, but "Because he can" (don't know the author. It's somewhere on LJ, though) might fit your requirements.
