Vulnerable House?

I'm curious if any emotionally vulnerable House fics exist! :) It doesn't necessary have to involve the entire story, but a few key major scenes would be fantastic.

Exs: feeling emotionally vulnerable about saying he loves Wilson and getting no reply, caught in shameful emotional position...? Things of that nature!

Hm. Most of my favorite stories involve House's vulnerability in some way. I'd recommend kidsnurse for starters (she writes gen, so may not be your thing if you want slash).

Tell us some other specific things you enjoy? I read a lot of hurt!Wilson, which tends to bring out House's vulnerability in the process, but again, I'm not sure if that's your thing. What else can you tell us?

Thank you for the rec! I do prefer slash, and actually do not usually ever read gen, but I will check it out. :)

Hmmm. My only preference is nothing ridiculously fluffy. I'm not sure how I feel about vulnerability in hurt!Wilson or hurt!House fics, but it's something I could enjoy if written very well. However, I don't typically read these...it's something about the extreme situation sap that results usually. ;P Not a fan of gender crossover fics or MPREG...but I can handle either if done well. (Really, I'm into good writing! xP)

Some of my main preferences: First Time fics, Drama/Angst, relatively lengthy or middle-length fics, Romance...I'm also okay with anything frighteningly dark or even featuring a "bad" character.

Heh, yes, I like hurt/comfort a lot, but the thing is, I'm also badly allergic to sap. Most of what I read is gen, but it isn't fluff. They still have to be the reticent, difficult characters they are on the show, or I'm not interested.

Flywoman, yarroway, deelaundry, nightdog_barks (her fic index is at nightdog_writes), mer_duff, pwcorgigirl, topaz_eyes and daasgrrl, all outstanding writers. Perspi hasn't been active in a long while but has a fic index and is really good. If you find a writer you enjoy, check their memories to see what they've been reading. I've left out far more great ficcers than I've recced here, but you'll find them pretty easily that way.
