In case you are interested, I thought of two other fics which deal with some kind of "self-harm" in a rather wide sense, not cutting: Disburden (http://rangergirl.livejournal.com/274481.html), in which House tries to deal with the death of both his parents and resorts to pain for a while, and Hazard Pay (http://topaz-eyes.livejournal.com/131228.html), in which House reacts to the events in "Last Resort", also by seeking out pain in a way.
