I remember reading a series like this...I think it was by Calypso Wolf? Or a similar name. It was very angsty. I read it on FFN. I just searched author names there and couldn't find it or anything like it. AO3 unfortunately has over 2000 results when I search for usernames with 'wolf' in them and I don't know how to narrow it down by fandom.
