I was just re-watching 'House Training' and for who knows what reason I was reminded of a fic I read a long time ago, which I'm fairly sure wasn't on LJ but I don't know where it would have been.

House had been sent to jail for quite a while (I think it had something to do with causing the death of some guy's daughter) and while there, he had no vicodin or anything, and was generally horribly mistreated (chain around his bad leg, solitary confinement, beatings etc). After his release, he was a total nervous wreck and never said a word to anybody. I seem to recall a court scene after his release where someone was on trial for what happened to him.

But what stuck with me was that at the end, House and Wilson were at a food court (I think it was a food court anyway) and Wilson got House a chocolate milkshake. To which House responded "Fucking hell, Wilson, you know I can't stand chocolate." Or something to that effect.
