A day ago I read the excellent "Swallowing Smoke" by wanderingwidget, which has eaten my brain with the angst and won't let go. Can anyone please recommend something roughly similar that deals with Wilson's cheating, but actually has a happy ending? Angst on the way to the ending is fine, great actually, as long as sometime before the end it can pull me out of the this-relationship-is-DOOMED!DOOMED!DOOMED! gutter "Swallowing Smoke" left me in.
Also, I'd love to find any stories out there with a scenario similar to this: their relationship is either platonic or intermittently casual, House wants more but believes Wilson would never give up his women for him, and Wilson is cluelessly in denial until either an OMC or Chase starts pursuing House and House lets himself be caught. No particular preference about the shape of the clue or the ending.
Thanks for any suggestions.
