So I just finished part one of five of my first fic ever, and I don't know if my writing is decent or not, but regardless I need someone to slap me about and make it better. This section is not too long - just under 2000 words. It's Wilson POV, not set during a particular season or anything of that sort, and... I'm poor at describing my own writing so I'll leave it at that. Anyway as I said, I'd like someone to give me an idea of where I'm going wrong, but I'd also quite simply like to know if it's even worth continuing the series or if it's totally uninteresting and I should scrap it in favour of something else.

Hi..I'm kinda new to this community, and I'd like to say, this is a a great way to find fan fics. So I need help with a few things.

1. I'm currently writing a H/W strong friendship fic, it's kinda angsty, and sad. The first chapter is posted at my LJ. So I'm currenlt writing my 2nd chapter 2nd chapter, and would love a beta, for grammar, and for plot.

2. So, I read A LOT of House fan fiction, but there are some fic that I'm having trouble finding.

a) Has anyone written a House/Dexter, or a House/Monk crossover? I know that there have been a few House/Scrubs, do you guys know any good ones? (Those are the only shows I watch besides House, and I can hardly find any crossovers)

b)Do you know any kidfics, where House and Wilson are not OOC? This situation could be crackish (I',. I'm just kinda sick of reading fics where they write House as a completely changed person when he has a kid.

c) Are they're any really smutty H/W established fics, where they try to take a "risk"?

Hello.

I've just finished my first House fic and I was wondering if I could get a kind soul to beta it for me. It's set in season 3, an AU version of the end of the Tritter arc, rather angsty, about 8700 words long, H/W friendship or pre-slash (depending on how you see it).

Hello! First time posting something here...and it's also my first time looking for someone to beta a fic of mine! I wrote a story for a prompt in Wilson Fest, Round 2, and they said beta-ing is much recommended, so...The fic is essentially just five pages of PG-rated fluffiness.

My apologies, I have no idea what the proper conduct is for searching for someone to help me out here is. However, if someone can check over my fic for me, I'd be very thankful.

So that 4x12 episode of House created a story in my head that just wouldn't go away. I decided to put it in writing to quiet the demons. It's almost finished. Since this is the first fic i've ever written, I need help, people who can beta for me. It's pretty long, but I plan to post it in parts. That's if I ever get the nerve to post it (as I said, this is my first fic, so to say I'm scared to post it is an understatement)

It's basically House, Wilson (and the rest of the gang) and the aftermath of 'Don't Ever Change'. I'm exploring what happens when House lets go of Wilson and House's world expanding because of it (to counterpoint Wilson's expectations of his world expanding because of House's decision).

What else... Oh, you have to be patient with me. Because I am not kidding when I said this is the first fic I've written. I may even ask for instructions on how to post properly. (I know... I'm pathetic. I'm used to it.) I'm actually crossing my fingers that I atleast post this request correctly.

Three things this time; two fic-requests and one beta-request.

1) I’ve started reading the Sherlock Holmes books, and I now have a craving for House/Wilson fics (friendship or slash) that mentions Holmes. Meta-ish, crack, cross-over, discussion about the Holmes/Watson relationship… anything connected to Holmes.

2) Fics where Wilson (or House) has an anxiety/panic attack. Or a mental breakdown. Whatever rating is fine, though preferably no character death (mention of dead, homeless brother’s fine) and no permanent psychosis, please.

3) I have two ficlets (about 1,000 words each) that would need a quick read and possibly a grammar check. Can anyone help?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I don't really know any other places. I've been writing a House/Wilson friendship fic and am now looking for a beta. The first five chapters are already on the internet (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3627418/1/Reaction) and I've also written the first versions of the final chapters. I'm gonna go through the whole story again to try and make it better and I'd need someone to help me out for I've become quite blind to my own text. Um, hi. ::shy wave:: I wonder if there is someone who would like to help me? I’ve had an idea for a fic in my head for quite a while, and I have started to write a little on it. I’m still sure about it though, since I only have a few ideas for the major events. It’s going to be pretty long (approximately about 10, 000 words, or more), and it’s basically a PG-ish Wilson-coming-out-of-the-closet kind of story, starring a very minor OMC and a possessive/jealous House, and is set sometime during S4. It’s kind of light-hearted, or at least not angsty. So my question is, is there someone out there who would like to juggle ideas, brainstorm, etc. with me?

Okay. I give up. I'm stuck and I think I have to admit I need a beta who can give me some ideas and whatnot, and get me out of this rut.

It's H/W slash, slight angst, PG-13 (unless I decide on something else), and takes place after 97 Seconds, so spoilers for that one. Half the fic is written, it's not terribly long, and basically that's all there is to it for now.

Anyone? Please?

So a friend of mine is drawing a House (or as the Japanese call him, "God of Medicine") doujinshi, a Japanese fancomic, to sell them on a convention in Japan. She doesn't speak Japanese though, that's why I translate the comic for her.

But I'm really bad when it comes to trancriptions, writing foreign names with Japanese katakana. So I need a beta who looks at all these names.

( So please, please, can somebody click this LJ-cut and tell me if they're alright? )

1. Where can I find a beta for my H/W stories? I know there is supposedly a House_beta commuity but I can't seem to find it. Does it still exist and if so where? I'm all out of breadcrumbs and it's getting dark...*sound of Werewolf!wilson howling*

2. Is there a specific site/community/magical fairy land where I can offload some plot bunnies? My bunnies are getting a bit rabid because i don't have the time or the talent to write them *Insert Monty Python's Holy Grail reference here* If there isn't would someone be willing to make one? I'd help moderate if someone showed me how.
