Three things...

So, I've got 3 ideas that I'd love to find fics related to. Or maybe, if no such fics exist, prompts? Two are from quotes that seem to me like fertile ground for exploration into H/W, and the third is random and pretty far out there...


1. From "Daddy's Boy": "I've been lying to you in increasing amounts ever since I told you you looked good unshaved a year ago."  It seems to me that: a) House kept himself clean-shaven for some period of his friendship with Wilson (or Wilson wouldn't have anything to compare to), and b) that House, one of the most contrary characters ever written, not only didn't turn around and show up the next day shorn to spite him, but in fact kept up this habit (which he believed Wilson to think attractive) for a year. Hmmm....

2. From "All In": "Either you go all in or I tell everyone in the building you wear toe-nail polish." This is pretty much canon for "Wilson wears toe-nail polish". Firstly, if House were to threaten a made-up rumour, surely he would come up with something more imaginative/embarrassing (for example, he threatened Cuddy with a rumour that she was transsexual). Secondly, Wilson, who puts up with the rest of House's badgering and posturing with barely an eye-roll, responds to this threat with stunned silence, followed by meek acquiescence to House's demand. Sounds like the behaviour of a guilty man to me...

3. Ok, this is the weird one (possibly squick-worthy. You've been warned): I've read a lot of slash in several widely-written communities over the last 6 years or so. I've seen a fair bit (not an over-whelming amount, but certainly noticeable) of fic that touches on cross-dressing, gender-swap AU, or just gender!f*ck. However, I've never seen any fic that casts an established character as a post-operative transsexual. I'd be particularly interested in anything that cast someone as an FtM (female-to-male; born female but transitioned to and lives as a man, presumably without other characters aware of his history), but really, I'm just curious as to the general absence when I've seen evidence of pretty much every other kink imaginable...  I realise this is unusual, and I'm not too hung up about it being House-verse - I'd take out-of-fandom recs as well.
