somewhere out there is a fic that i didn't bookmark at the time, because at the time i thought it was... too... not dark, and not exactly bittersweet, but somewhere in between those, i think. which was silly, because in retrospect it was awesome and i was just having a weird day. it involves wilson and house getting drunk one night and wilson says something like, "all kidding aside, house, i love you," and then house starts constantly cracking mean jokes about wilson being gay. there's some sort of confrontation, but i don't really remember...

there's also this beautiful bit of dialog that i scribbled down: "Luminous blue variable. Fancy word for a big, bright star that has no business being so big and bright." "No business, meaning..." "They usually blow themselves apart after a few million years." "That's poetic. Byronic stars."
