House as inventor

taiga13.livejournal.comHas anyone ever seen a fic where House invents something? I can easily see him needing some particular instrument to diagnose someone or a particular medicine to cure a disease, and it doesn't exist, so he invents it. But I don't recall ever seeing that in a fic, much less on the show. If anyone else has I'd love to read it. Thanks in advance!
