Hallo!

Quick question, very quick, I'm looking for a post-infarc fic I read recently but didn't mem, where House takes too many pills and Wilson goes to check up on him (on Cuddy's orders I remember) and finds him 'out of sorts' so to speak, otherwise just very high, and somehow Wilson ends up giving him a blow job. Does anyone know which one that was?

Ta to anyone who knows what the hell I'm talking about, to be honest I don't know half the time. School has been kicking my ass lately. I redesigned a vodka bottle, that's something, there might be a future in that, or a dead end . . .

It's almost Tuesday everyone! *much too excited for words, resigning instead to grin like an idiot because I always get my hopes up (too high?)*

Also, a little off topic, but I absolutely love your icon, I've been admiring it for some time and now have a chance to say it. If I were prone to seizures maybe I wouldn't like it so much but I'm not so its all good.
Honestly though, I alway, always get my hopes up too high. On Tuesday I'll be perched in front of the TV, breath held, refusing to blink, hanging on every word and despising every second of commercials and if (I only say if) the episode is a disappointment I'll just lapse into utter depression.
*shrug* that's the way of it though, not much you can do, besides cross your fingers. Thanks again for finding the fic.

OMG, thanks so much! Please feel free to steal it if you're so inclined; I was just so surprised it was finally lupus that I felt the icon had to be changed. LOL, and yes, it's a good thing I don't have epilepsy, cause it was my default icon for a while.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. On the one hand, I'm always happy there's a new episode, and I've never hated one (except One Day, One Room, and I liked it until Eve fucking showed up). On the other hand, this season definitely hasn't been stellar, and sometimes after the episode's over I just stare sadly at the tv screen.

One Day, One Room was the one - and only, mind you! - episode I hated. They devoted a whole episode on a whiny girl babbling away and House telling her that his father was a bad guy?

We knew he was! Now, if it had come out that he was raped, too, that would've been a revelation worth 42 minutes...

I wrote a fic surrounding the episode of One Day, One Room (in which House had been abused (excuse the shameless self promotion (really, I have no shame, it went out the window about the same time as 'appropriate-dinner-table behavior' and 'dutiful-student-conduct' did) the episode needed some sort of response I think).
I've heard both opinions (like it or hate it) for the episode, to be honest I liked it, but I see people's point. There was some sort of connection drawn between House and the girl, and, as I've said, drawing a parallel between yourself and a teenage girl isn't exactly a comforting revelation . . . but anyway, let bygones be bygones I suppose . . .

I read your story, you know? And I liked it a lot, for the aforementioned reasons.

I actually kind of like the House!abuse backstory, because it makes sense (at the same time, it would have been awesome if he was just the way he was, and nothing necessarily made him that way), but the whole Eve plot and the exchanges were just so, so bad.

And I'm not going to see it until Wednesday! I hate how I'm always late for board discussions on

better late than never I suppose (I'm practicing my 'brighter outlook on life' lately, I've planted a flower in a pot and am planning to watch it grow and thrive over the next few weeks, that and I've saved three and a half kittens from trees in the last month alone)
The discussions are great though, and when missed certainly grounds for pouting over. After the Squee Heard Around the World I don't think I've ever known such excitement as the comm that night. Anyway, we're all in this together, same boat and all that.

Tell me what your icon is about. It makes no sense to me, just looks like there's a pineapple floating about and House deliberately tries to ignore it. "Oh, yes, gotta listen to something on that blue thing in my hands... not that I'm being distracted by a floating pineapple or anything."

I think is about House's hair looking like a pineapple... but I could be wrong.

Well, I made it actually. Sadly, its not as mysterious as it seems. Pineapples are lovely fruits (are they fruits?) and Hugh is (inarguably) a lovely person. The origin of the icon is based on just those two points really . . . it wasn't until after making it that I discovered his hair and the pineapple held a more than passing resemblance . . .
That's the whole story, not much excitement.
I'm a fan of absurdity (all in all the world, our existence, is extremely logical and to-the-point, mysteries only exist through us, otherwise a pineapple is just a pineapple) and I enjoy making people guess or speculate for themselves . . .
Well, that was sort of a long, rambling answer, hope you don't mind.
I remember your usual icon, the cupcake, and love it very much. It's your, and other people's, persistence in icon usage that urged me to settle on just one for myself. Not that I won't change it at one point.

LOL, I like your icon because it makes me think of Psych, and combining House and Psych is awesome.

Logical or not, it's a cute picture of him, anyway. He looks a bit stringy there, a bit sinewy, but not spindly, and I like that.

Most people actually call me cupcake on LJ. =P
