I read an AU fic a while back in which either Wilson or House has a somewhat unorthodox method of healing people. The other one hears about it - maybe from a patient - and drops by. It was incomplete and somewhat short when I first read it, but it may be longer now.

It was a wonderful idea, and I absolutely love that story! I read so many House/Wilson fics that few truly stand out in my mind, but obviously it was really memorable to me. I suppose you've basically given up on it, which is a shame... still, as a writer myself, I know that there's not much one can do if you lack inspiration.
Anyway, if you ever decide to continue it, would you please leave a comment here and let me know?

I really like it. I don't think that House is out of character... I mean, you changed something very important about him, but that's what makes in an AU. His voice rings true and that's what matters the most, at least to me.

This was my first read of "Hoax" as well.

First off, having written about one healer (an OFC) in a slightly AU House fic I can easily see this taking off. The biggest trick is to get the reader to suspend disbelief - and I feel you can do that.

My suggestions? Go back to the drawing board, get a good beta-reader, perhaps flesh out the intro, but whatever you do, do NOT stop with this concept. It has "good read" all over it and it deserves your attention. :-)
