Ok, I need help. I've been a very bad House/Wilson fan lately. For the last few months I have been neglecting reading the fics of this fandom for... Tochwood. Yes, it's awful, but it lured me with pretty boys and actual male on male action.

So, to redeem myself I think is time that I catch up with the wonderful fics written here in the last 3 or 4 months? I'll read pretty much anything, but prefer happy ending stories. Oh, and no threesomes, please ;D Otherwise, everything is good. Thanks.

And I find the whole H/W < Torchwood argument really amusing and interesting-- a bunch of my real-life friends have recently done the same thing and migrated away from the wide world of subtext and into the special, special place of Jack/Ianto or Jack/Doctor or Jack/James Marsden character...

Well, I haven't abandoned H/W. It was a mixture of things I guess. House was in hiatus and I stumbled upon Jack/Jack episode and I just had to see the whole show and see what it was about.

Started watching and fell in love with Ianto (strangely he sometimes reminds me of Wilson) and while the show has many badly done things (continuity is awful) I was hoked.

I guess it wasn't only the Jack/Ianto interactions. It was the fandom itself. Such a nice bunch of people and the torch_wood institute it's a great place to be around. There you can post discussions, and silly things and practically anything you want.

Here you have to be very careful about what you post and when you comment on something there's a 50% chance of someone telling you what you think it's wrong or stupid.
So I mostly avoided coming to the House/Wilson community and went there were, while not everyone thinks the same as you, they still respect your opinions and thoughts.

So I still watch the show, I still love it, but prefer to keep to my self.

Torchwood is addictive! I love Jack/Ianto and I adore the dancing between Jack/Jack. I completely understand about posting at H/W comm, but I think it's a shame that you feel you can't express your opinions. Other H/W communities, there's Cane and Tie (http://community.livejournal.com/cane_n_tie/) and Greg Loves Jimmy (http://community.livejournal.com/greglovesjimmy/) where anything related to House/Wilson is welcome. Anyway I highly recommend joining of one (or both) of them.

Jack/Ianto, don't even get me started! I'm addicted to it. Completely and absolutely. And how not to really? They are wonderful, specially Ianto. The writers leave so much room for speculation in their relationship that we fans can fill in the blanks to our hearts desire. It also gets big bonus points because it's canon!

I have a question! I saw a few Janto kisses on YouTube and I know this is a H/W site but I thought I could ask you, Astuta, which episode the kiss clip I saw where Jack and Ianto hug in relief and it turns into a kisss is? I know that wasn't clear but I've seen the one where they kiss in Jack's office when Jack is talking about time travel and I've seen the one where they get caught by Gwen...which other eps have Janto kissing?

The kiss were they hug is in the episode 1x13 "End of Days", the last episode of the first season.

In the episode 1x04 "Cyberwoman" Jack kisses Ianto. Now, there is much discussion about this. People are still wondering if it was CPR (it didn't look like it at all), if Ianto was dead and Jack brought him back to life with the famous "kiss of life", or if Ianto was unconscious and Jack decided to kiss him awake. I'm still undecided myself, but mostly think that Ianto was near death and Jack passed him energy trough his kiss.

In episode 2x03 "To the last man" as you said, Ianto and Jack kiss in his office.

In episode 2x05 "Adam" Jack kisses Ianto in the forehead in a very caring way. Personally I think this is the episode were Gareth David - Lloyd (the actor who plays Ianto) shows his amazing acting skills, is really an episode worth watching.

In episode 2x09 "Something Borrowed" they don't kiss, but there's a lovely scene were they dance together.

In 2x11 "Adrift" you have the scene were they are caught by Gwen.

And in 2x12 "Fragments" while they don't kiss they take a tumble and end up in top of eachother, looking quite... ermm... hot.
