fanfic -> comic?

Hello~ :3
I'm in the mood for drawing a comic, but I'm out of good ideas for a plot. I suck at writing dialouge, so I was wondering if:
* Someone already has a short, dialouge-based fanfiction who is willing to let me turn it into a comic?
* Or if anyone simply has a good idea for a comic?
* Or if anyone want to do a joint-comic? (I can't find a good word for it!! My dictionary says that joint is the right word, but it sounds like I'm talking about drugs). What I mean is, we could come up with a plot together, you could do the writing and I the drawing (or if you'd like we can both draw... but as I said before, I suck at writing).

I usually prefer humor or angst, but I'm pretty open-minded about the plot. Romance is fine too, as longest it's not PWP. :) I rather not draw sex scenes. BTW, I'm just doing this for fun and I'm not an expert at drawing, so if I turn down your fanfiction, it's probably not because it's bad but because it's too difficult for me to fit the story into panels.
Any replies are helpful! :) and I'm not sure if I tagged this right but w.e.

lol If I could draw men I would've done a kajillion House comics by now. LOL I don't know if you wanna use any of my ficlets or not. I've pretty much given up on writing fanfic, so all my stuff is really old

Lol, I think my obsession with fandoms are the reason I got good at drawing. Fanart make real good practice. I guess your journal is friend-locked so I added you so I could take a look at the ficlets. I'm a n00b at LJ so it'll probably take a while before I can even find them, but I'll let you know if I read something I could use.

lol, don't worry. I would've figured it out eventually :P had to look up the video "shoes" on youtube after reading one of your fics, it was pretty hilarious :)

Roflmao, thank you. ^-^ I might re-write a little sometime, it's a little rough around the edges, writing-wise. But I like it. X3

Heheh, it WOULD be cracktastic, which always is a positive thing. If I did do it I could probably re-use some stuff from my previous comics, which would make it pretty easy to draw... hmm... lol I suck at choosing, I'm probably gonna end up drawing three seperate comics for each person who posted in this thread. Good thing I'm on break from school.

Cool, thanks! I liked them, but I'm not sure I can use them. Mostly because the characters aren't moving and there's a lot of short lines, which means that I would either focus on the characters and their facial expressions throughout the entire comic, which could get boring, or I could make the background a bit more dynamic, which might work. "Calculating Tips" was very funny though, and very typically H/W, so I'm tempted to see if I could fit it into a comic.

Sure, if you don't mind I'd love to see them. I can't decide if I will use them before I know what they are about, but if it's not to much effort on your part I would definately like to take a look.:)

lmao the idea of Cameron controlling the hospital through Sims 2 is genius. :'D but how does it end? lol I might use that idea. I think I'll either do something with that one, or I'll do one of benjimmy's fics. the advangtage of dialouge fics is that half of my work is already done, so i'm sort of leaning towards that, but if I don't use your idea now I might do it later. If you read my last House-comic, you'd know that I love that kind of humor. :'p I would kill 13 by putting her in a swimming pool and remove the ladder. I love Sims 2.
