Hi,

I can't really recall if these stories were H/W but I thought I'd take a shot.

1) A fic that referenced Alistair Macleod's No Great Mischief, specifically a scene involving either House or Wilson reading/referencing the book and the theme of a dog loyal to the point of self-sacrifice.

2) A fic that used this quote from a Sufjan Stevens song on John Wayne Gacy, Jr. - "Look beneath the floorboards for the secrets I have hid."

Vague, I know. Any clues?

Ahem. I have no clues for the second fic, but can tell you that the first is 'Against The Current' by the wonderful mer-duff. I remember this well because I read that book just a few months ago, not aware of the connection, and got the shivers when I recognized the quote.
