Looking for fics

 There are an awful lot of H/W slash fics where House and Wilson realize that they are in love and progress straight to fucking. I am looking for fics that do have some smut but concentrate on the flirting and dating and emotional build up and confusion before any consummation. Romance and humor are preferred to angst but if it is really good i would love to read it.

I would suggest four-legged fish's How Not To Be Boring, especially the first dozen or so chapters.

Also Misdreya's The Weary And The Blasphemous, which is extremely AU but hot and romantic as hell.

MissViolet's H/W fics are straight-ahead porn but written very romantically.

There are a lot of non-smutty House/Wilson fics (topaz_eyes's rec list has the ratings -- lots of PG and even a few G). I think it's harder to find fics that concentrate on "the flirting and dating and emotional build up" because for a lot of writers, we feel the show itself has already shown so much of that emotional build-up. Wilson and House are already so emotionally intimate and enmeshed -- and they also seem to have more fun with each other than they do with anyone else.
