Definitely. Lots of good stuff to come. I think Black Hole was has some of my favorite Wilson scenes ever.

Really, every episode this season was good, with lots of excellent Wilson and H/W scenes, until the last five minutes of Baggage and this disaster of a finale.

But you might want to skip ep. 14,5 to 9, Cuddy's episode, but that was Sheakespeare compared to last night's atrocity.

"5 to 9" had some good Wilson moments, with Wilson admitting he's a pushover ("guy who paid sticker price for his car") and saying out loud that House is a huge manipulator. Throughout the series, we get House calling Wilson a manipulator a lot (and Wilson is one, no question) but House is equally a sneaky plotter and it's nice that Wilson confirmed he knows that.

here's an actually honest comment

the only good eps after down low for h/w:

black hole.

um yeah that's it. lockdown and the choice were cute/fun episodes. lockdown has the cutest wilson/thirteen (friend) shit everrrr, and the choice had a gay patient storyline which is always good.

uhhh, baggage was the shittiest episode of life and the finale had like 5 second screentime for wilson.

idk what the jokers above me are talking about, they must be wearing coke bottle bottom slashgoggles, because all the good hilson stuff stopped happening after the down low.

I don't know what the person above is talking about, but there were lots of great, funny, and touching H/W scenes after The Down Low in all episodes, except 5 to 9.

SPOILERS!

If you don't mind spoilers, here's just some general info on what happens in the episodes:

Remorse - a great H/W clinic scene in which Wilson tries to speak Spanish, but fails

Moving the Chains - lots of funny scenes in that one, some pranking going on in the condo, House and Wilson spending the whole night awake together trying to catch the prankster

5 to 9 - no H/W scenes, but Wilson does mention House in one scene

Private Lives - House finds out about Wilson's "sex tape," more touching moments between the two men

Black Hole - the, what is considered now, "eye fuck of the century" from Wilson, Wilson buying House an organ

Lockdown - Thirteen reminding Wilson how he bought a place FOR House and lives with him, so "it's no wonder he doesn't date anyone"

Knight Fall - Lots, LOTS of protective House

Open and Shut - a little on the angsty side, some sad House at the end after realizing Wilson is still with his ex-wife

The Choice - House deciding to hang out with the team, telling Wilson he's doing it for him, toasting to Wilson at the bar

Baggage - House basically obsessing over Wilson throughout the whole episode, lots of subtext

Help Me - one H/W scene (phonecall)

I think it totally depends on why you watch House or what you like about the show and what makes you keep watching. I was infinitely at the point of stopping to watch because I was so fed up with all the gay-references that ridiculed and negated H/W and the authors rubbing it in. Sure, there were some great scenes, mostly House- and/or Chase-Related, but overall, this season was just a patchwork of unfinished ideas with NO read thread at all.

IAWTC. Like the last anon said, it's really up to you. Think of this season as the marshmallow you found in your pocket to the 90% dark bar of chocolate that house has been in previous seasons- It's easy, and light, but you'll forget about it soon enough and you might find some bits of sand at the bottom that leave a bad taste in your mouth. If you were to ask me what my favorite season of house is, season six wouldn't come immediately to mind, but I have watched every episode so far, which is a first for me since season two.

Don't go looking for a lot of the deeper meaning House usually carries around with it; the riffs on life this season are about the quality of a lifetime movie written by a 15-year-old girl. On the other hand, House and Wilson are almost ridiculously schmoopy, to the point that random newspaper critics were commenting on it, and unlike some other House episodes, nothing here really hurts to watch like some of the Tritter and Amber stuff did.

So, in summary, you could probably watch the best of the season in one sitting and be smiling at the end, but don't expect to be too blown away. Here are some of my favorite episodes:

Private Lives: Not necessarily H/W, but plenty of Wilson AND OH WHO AM I KIDDING GO WATCH IT NOW IT'S HILARIOUS. Telling you why would spoil it, BUT TRUST ME IT IS.

Black Hole: I think this episode was so gay they had to get Wilson a girlfriend, just so they didn't get beat up by FOX. BTW, this is the one that some random journalist said that they could pretty much only get schmoopier if they were actually having sex. The patient's kinda lame, though.

Lockdown: As weird as this sounds, this episode has some adorable Taub/Foreman. And some great Wilson/Thirteen friendshippiness. Plus, it was directed by Hugh Laurie!

The Choice: Gay patient, which is always fun, plus an absolutely side-splitting Foreman/Chase/House scene WHICH IS AWESOME AND TOTALLY WORTH WATCHING FOR.

Baggage: This one's iffy. Dr. Nolan's therapy style ticked some people off, but whatever Nolan was trying to push House towards it honestly seemed to me like House was getting as close as he ever does to flat-out SAYING he's jealous of Wilson's squeeze. House is like, "That didn't bother me!" *shifty eyes* and Nolan's like, "Well, all right then. That sounded honest. So if it wasn't THAT, than it must be CUDDY!" Congratulations, Nolan, you get a gold star for obliviousness.
I guess that it wasn't great plot-of-the-show-wise, but I liked watching it through slash goggles anyways.
