Christ I'm bored, so I have a few reqs.

1) I would like H/W fics that have supernatural elements, but House and Wilson are not like vampires or from the future. They are themselves, but say there's time travel, or body switching, or they're being haunted . . . the events and characters are canon, but there are supernatural things going on.

2) You know when fics make references to movies RSL or HL have been in? I'd like some good fics liks that, whether it's just a passing reference or if the whole fic revolves around it. Or it's a crossover.

3) This really is OT, but when I was in second grade my teacher used to read this book series to us aimed for chldren our age. It was about these two friends who were complete opposites (one of them being a troublemaker and the other being a good kid.) In one of them, the troublemaker lost a tooth but the good friend was under the impression he'd stolen money. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I can only help with the first one. I'll confine myself to fics that have a strong supernatural element. Coincidentally they're by three of my favorite authors.

Calling The Moon: http://mer-duff.livejournal.com/54148.html#cutid1

The Death Doll: http://srsly-yes.livejournal.com/47600.html

Two Steps: http://alternatealto.livejournal.com/15326.html#cutid1

There's also great fic where Amber is there as a ghost, but I can't recall either title or author. Most (all?) of the story is set in a bar. I mention it in hopes that someone else can remember more than I can.

Re: #3
Why don't you ask your second grade teacher? Assuming that person is alive and reachable, of course. S/he'll probably get a kick out of finding out that s/he made an impact on you.

Is there any chance it was one of those Cam Jansen stories? i vaguely remember it was about this girl detect, and i think her friend/sidekick got in trouble a bit. They tended to have a good bit of mystery and intrigue in them. Oh and Cam had a photographic memory. If thats not it do you remember anything else about it?

I found a website where you can rec books like you can fics on this site and i am trying to put yours in and they wanted to know the general age of the book. yah run-on sentences.

someone on that site posted a similar rec and one suggestion was "Me and Caleb" and Me and Caleb Again" except that they are brothers rather than friends.
Charming, humorous tale of two brothers growing up
in a small Missouri town at the edge of the Ozarks.

Does it sound at a familiar? still waiting for responses on my post. i may have to wait a day or two.

Could it be Goofus & Gallant? I'm not sure if there were books or if it was a magazine.

Yeah, that's what it sounded like to me too. They were in the Highlights magazine...but maybe they made a book about them too?
