Looking for House/Wilson Grecian Story

I'm looking for a story apparently set in ancient Greece, where Wilson is House's slave. Very AU.  Also, any stories that involve the military and/or House's experience as a military brat (not interested in stories solely about child abuse, doesn't even need to have child abuse).  I'm more interested in the military aspects.

Thanks!

[livejournal.com profile] namasteyoga's Family Housing (http://namasteyoga.livejournal.com/8383.html#cutid1) is about House's childhood as a military kid.

Also, if it's the Annals you're looking for (Ancient Rome AU), the page for the collected stories is here (http://nightdog-barks.livejournal.com/1260990.html).

Not the OP, but I just clicked on your Annals from the link in the first comment and I'm loving it! Excellent series, so well written and very in character. Recommending to everyone :D

Hee! I always think everybody has to know (and love) the Annals already, but I'm just that biased. *g*

I'm surprised I hadn't come across it earlier too! I am relatively new to H/W but love a bit of master/slave AU fic. So pleased I found this fic!

Thank you so much! Much credit is due my First Readers and betas, all of whom poured just as much into the story as I did. I'm glad you enjoyed!

Depending on how AU it is, you can use the military history of WWI for a base. Also, the Spanish-American War, although it was right at the end of the 19th century, should hold some good resources. The Canadians have an awesome WWI repository, with a great oral history section -- you can listen to these old men describe their daily life in the ranks and the battles they were in.

First Readers are an invaluable ally for me in keeping me on track and for bouncing storylines and ideas around. They're not for every writer, but it works for me. :-)
