I just finished rewatching Season 4 and rereading one of my favorite fics of all time, Down to the Water by blackmare_9 . I've heard that there were many excellent stories inspired by House's Head/Wilson's Heart and would love it if you would leave me links to your favorites in the comments. Anything from H/W friendship through H/W explicit slash would be welcome, as long as it's well-written and in-character. Thanks so much!

Here's the rec I made when it first came out: "The summary for bammel's "Afterimage" says, "House wrestles with himself." I feel that's somewhat misleading, though; this fic is truly about what happens when House stops wrestling with himself after the events of "Wilson's Heart."

You might be able to guess, but I'd suggest you go read "Afterimage" instead."

Daasgirl's "On Boats" is a post-Wilson's Heart fic that explores what would have happened if Wilson had stayed away after leaving PPTH. It's lovely. Eventual H/W slash.
