Hi there,
I'm new to the house fandom. Actually no, that's wrong. I've been a fan since day one but fell out of the fanfic loop around season two (and wasn't into slash at the time, only reading het - haha, how times have changed). Anyway, since I've been out of the loop for so long I was wondering if there are any classic/brilliant/gateway House/Wilson fics anyone can rec.
Anything really!

I am going to rec my own rec list. These aren't my stories, just the ones I think are the absolute best in many categories of the H/W fandom. There are about a dozen recommendations (some go back a while) so it's a pretty small list. A lot of them are the ones that appear on everyone's list (those "gateway" fics) and there are a few lesser known ones too. I don't think any of these should be missed.

I'm going to throw out a few preliminary blanket-recs for:

nightdog_barks, flywoman, deelaundry, pwcorgigirl, mer_duff, topaz_eyes and perspi whose No Little Charity (linked at the top of her journal) is an absolute classic.

There are lots and lots more and I apologize about everyone I'm leaving off this list right now. If you find a writer whose work you really like, try checking their "Memories" and see if they've marked some stuff. I know I have.
