After the finale I remember there were several fics set well into the future where for some reason or another House was forced to come back, or someone went looking for him, etc. Usually it had to do with someone important being ill, and the current diagnostics team couldn't figure it out.

Anyway, I'd love to read something along those lines, where H&W settled in a post-cancer, post-PPTH life together are suddenly thrown back into their old world again. I'd like to see how everyone would deal with that. I know people were thinking of fics like that months ago, but I have no idea if anything ever came of it.

If you know any fics like these, please let me know.

I think it was slash. I read it on Sick!Wilson. House and Wilson are in an accident and Wilson has to cut off house's bad leg. While they recover Wilson thinks House is mad with him because he cut his leg off. House wasn't mad but grateful because now he has no let pain fom the infraction.

Any ideas?

Hello there!

I keep seeing recs for Bettina_Elvina (fox_hunt)'s fics, but I can't seem to find them? The recs are all pretty old, so the fics might not actually exist anymore. Still, I would like to know if she changed accounts or just really deleted everything she had online. Most of the fics, at least the ones I saw rec'ed, seemed to be gen with slight H/S. Anyone know where I can find these fics?

I vaguely remember seeing a story, or dreamt it (I have vivid dreams, okay? it's a medical thing), where House had taken Wilson's McGill sweatshirt to Mayfield with him. At least I think it was Mayfield. I don't remember if he wore it, I think it was just for the comfort of having something of Wilson's with him. I don't remember if Wilson knew or not. Am I imagining things or did this really happen in a story, and if so, can I have a link to it? Thanks.

Hello, I'm looking for a fic I read years ago. I believe it was titled "The Ride" and think maybe it was written by elicia8/euclase. House is resting or napping on a stretcher in the hallway, and Wilson finds him. They converse while Wilson pushes him around the hospital on the stretcher. At one point they come across Cameron and House invites her to sit on the stretcher and take a ride too, which she does (it's NOT a House/Cameron story though). That's all, just House and Wilson having fun. Anyone else remember it, and more importantly have a link for it?

Last time I checked it was an multi-chaptered WIP. It's only on livejournal. Pretty sure it was pretty long.

At one point House's mom comes to visit. They have dinner (her, house, wilson). House leaves her and wilson alone to go to the bar. takes place during canon, house and wilson working at the teaching hospital. Cuddy's still hospital admin.

Sorry there's so few details, but I'd really appreciate the help. I checked my memorable enteries, tried using google. Nothing.

edit: At one point maybe Wilson was living with House.

It primarily took place in house's apartment.

Looking for a one-shot I read. House has had a stroke (though I don't think it's explicitly stated - the after-effects are there), and he tells Wilson that he feels useless - can't work, can't walk, sometimes can't even think.

Wilson, of course, reassures him. They're lying in bed on an average evening. Perhaps they're significantly older than they are in canon. Wilson worries he won't be able to physically help House much longer with transfers to/from wheelchair and such.

It was a rather brief glimpse into their lives, but also understatedly beautiful. Anyone remember it?

I'm looking for a short House/Wilson fic where Wilson is thinking about how he likes the romance trope of "bodice rippers" but he didn't really act them out with his wives. Then he realizes that it's because he wanted to be the one getting his metaphorical bodice ripped. (And House is, of course, happy to oblige.)

I'd love for it to be slash H/W. I've read Evening of the Day by Nakanna Lee and now I'm hooked on the concept.
However, I'm having a difficult time finding more fic like this one. Long fic would be amazing, but I doubt that there are any.

Also another request is a H/W story with a lot of visual detail and them being as in character as possible. If you read any of Nakanna Lee's fics you'd know what I mean. It can be angsty or disturbing,(I don't squick easily, lol) but it has to have a happy or uplifting ending please.

This is an old story, that I know. I don't think Cuddy was in it but I'm not sure. The (original) team find House in his office drunk and/or stoned, and fuss over him. They call Wilson who also fusses over him, and takes him home and puts him to bed. After Wilson leaves House gets up and the reader realizes that House was faking the whole time. Ring any bells?

I basically remember everything but the title/author, which is why it's so hard for me to find again. House gets a head injury (I think his cane slips on an ice patch) and he basically becomes a five-year-old child. He has to relearn language but only accomplish "me" "no" and "Wilson" (which comes out "Wil-san," I remember Wilson thinking it was like a Japanese business man or something).

Wilson ends up taking care of House, but House being House, he doesn't want to live like that, so he convinces Wilson to kill him (I'm pretty sure he puts Vicodin in ice cream or something) by telling him "me no me, Wil-san"

I remember it being pretty long and horrendously depressing, but I never bookmarked it. Or perhaps I did and it's been deleted....I just need someone to at least tell me the title, it's been driving me crazy!
