Drugged!sex, please? I'm looking for drug use rather than drug abuse fics (though both is fine if you have something to rec) and yes, there is a difference.

There was one with House inviting Wilson to smoke a joint with him that was in fact ment for one of Wilson's patients, and he did something like taking the lit up end into his mouth and blowing while Wilson had the oher end in his.

I know, I saw! I get what she's saying though. I read and lurk, and have started on my first fic (sloooowly) and it's pretty damned terrifying with a lot of people so established out there.

But I very much enjoyed seeing something off the beaten path. I'll have to read the rest of her stuff tomorrow.

I was scared sh**less when I started posting my stuff about a month or so ago. There are some phenomenal writers out there. It doesn't come easy for me and I end up editing my chapters about ten times before I'm even remotely happy with it.

I know it wasn't originally rec'd to me, so I'm popping up out of nowhere, but good lord your friend has talent! That was the best story I've read in quite some time.

I understand her uneasiness, though...I'm usually really shy about my stories when I'm first getting into communities, and it took me years to get brave enough to start posting stuff. I still don't let any of my RL friends (or, God forbid, family members) read my stff, either. Except my crazy cousin who's just as slash!fandom crazy as I am. XDD

I totally know what you mean. Just recently (like the last month or so), I started posting some of my stuff and it's scary as hell. My work doesn't even come close to most of the stuff out there but I have a few fans which helps put me at ease.

Totally agree with you about letting RL friends read my stuff. First, they think I'm weird anyway for being so obsessed with House and second, they would think I'm absolutely bonkers if they knew I actually wrote about the characters. It's so hard to relate to people who don't understand my love for the show and its characters.

Haha, I know! I have a tight little following of fans on ff.net for my Harry Potter stories. Makes my day when I get a comment from one of them. I haven't shared a lot of House stuff, since I just recently got the balls to start writing it in the first place, but I have a couple of people who seem to like my stuff alright, so it kinda boosts my confidence.

My friends know that I write them, they even know that I write House and Wilson together, but I don't think they know quite the extent that I write... XD; I'm trying my hardest to keep it that way, because if they saw some the stuff, I'm sure they'd start avoiding me. (Especially since I call my roommate "my Wilson" - I don't think of her that way at all, but she's just very Wilson-like with how she puts up with me. XD)
