Looking for a story

Some time ago I read a story where House and Wilson are in a PPTH elevator when some bombs go off and they are trapped for a while. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

It does indeed ring a bell. The story was on fanfiction.net, but I can't recall the title or whether it was ever completed.

Is that the one where Chase is there too and needs an appendectomy? I don't think there is a bomb though in that story, but it is the only "stuck in an elevator" story I recall.

Thanks, but this is about…I believe…a series of terrorist strikes, including the hospital. House and Wilson get caught in an elevator, and have trouble getting out. Once they do, they find out about the bombs, the damage to the hospital, etc.

I vaguely remember that - but I don't think it was ever finished. I wonder if the writer deleted it? I think srsly is right and it was on ff.net but I too have searched for elevators with no success.

I've googled and searched my bookmarks and I've got nothing. I've found a few fics with them trapped in elevators, but it doesn't have any of the other elements you've described.

Is the story slash or friendship? Are House and Wilson the only two people in the elevator or is someone else with them?

House and Wilson are the only two in the elevator. They're in there for a while, trying to figure out what happened; smoke starts filtering in, they're not sure if they should try to open the door to get out or if they're stuck between floors and opening the door will let in more smoke and fire, etc. They do eventually get out, and, I think, help with the wounded. I can't remember if there's any slash element to it.
